Songs for Children

If You’re Happy And You Know It

If you're happy and you know it, Clap your hands
(Clap, Clap)
If you're happy and you know it, Clap your hands
(Clap, Clap)
If you're happy and you know it,

Then your face will surely show it

If you're happy and you know it, Clap your hands.
(Clap, Clap)

If you're happy and you know it, Stomp your feet
(Stomp, Stomp)
If you're happy and you know it, Stomp your feet
(Stomp, Stomp)
If you're happy and you know it,

Then your face will surely show it

If you're happy and you know it, Stomp your feet.
(Stomp, Stomp)

If you're happy and you know it, Turn around
(Turn around)
If you're happy and you know it, Turn around
(Turn around)
If you're happy and you know it,

Then your face will surely show it

If you're happy and you know it, Turn around
(Turn around)

If you're happy and you know it, Do all three

(Clap Clap, Stomp Stomp, Turn around)

If your're happy and you know it, Do all three,

(Clap Clap, Stomp Stomp, Turn around)

If you're happy and you know it,

Then you're face will really show it,

If you're happy and you know it, Do all three,

(Clap Clap, Stomp Stomp, Turn Around)

(These are the lyrics my kids and I sing)

That's a classic. I remember singing it in nursery school.

I started buying children's CD's to play in the car when my eldest was about 9 months old. I will never forget the day, after having it playing several times, I glanced back in the rearview to see her flapping her little arms and kicking her feet along to that song on our CD!! It was the most adorable thing ever!

This was my baby's very first favorite song! She was clapping her hands and stomping her feet before she could do much else in life . . .
