Little White Duck
Listen
There’s a little white duck swimming in the water
A little white duck doing what he aughter
He took a bite of the lilly pad
Flapped his wings and he said “I’m glad
I’m a little white duck swimming in the water
Quack! Quack! Quack!”
There’s a little green frog jumping in the water
A little green frog doing what he aughter
He jumped right off of the lily pad
That the little duck bit and he said “I’m glad
I’m a little green frog jumping in the water
Gulp! Gulp! Gulp!”
There’s a little black bug floating in the water
A little black bug doing what he aughter
He tickled the frog on the lily pad
That the little duck bit and he said “I’m glad
I’m a little black bug floating in the water
Chirp! Chirp! Chirp!”
There’s a little red snake swimming in the water
A little red snake doing what he aughter
He frightened the duck and the frog so bad
He ate the little bug and he said “I’m glad
I’m a little red snake floating in the water
Ssss! Ssss! Ssss!”
Now there’s nobody left sitting in the water
Nobody left doing what he augher
There’s nothing left but the lily pad
The duck and the frog ran away it’s sad
But there’s nobody left sitting in the water
Boo hoo hoo!

Too cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by my blog! I'm glad to hear that you thought my post was uplifting!
ReplyDeleteI like that song you posted too. It is very cute and it could become our favorite song. I just had a lady today tell me that my kids were so well behaved in the stroller and I told her that they are as long as I am singing. Whenever we walk anywhere (which is a lot!) I always sing them all kinds of songs. Sometimes it works better than snacks!
It is good to see a blog promoting music because it is such an important part of a childs development and for adults too. I know there are still songs I hear that put me in a good mood. I want that for my kids--for them to be able to remember back to fun times through music.
I will be back!

Hello! Thank you for stopping by my blog today :o) Come back anytime!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is so cute...I love (and am jealous of!) all the little music details everywhere! It looks great!
P.S. And you're right - there is nothing wrong with shutting the door on a messy room - what people can't see won't hurt them a bit! ;o)
Cute Blog!
