Songs for Children: Loop de Loop

Loop de Loop

Lyrics:

Here we go loop de loop

Here we go loop de lie

Here we go loop de loop

All on a Saturday night

You put your right hand in

You take your right hand out

You give your hand a shake, shake, shake

And turn yourself about

Here we go loop de loop

Here we go loop de lie

Here we go loop de loop

All on a Saturday night

You put your left foot in

You take your left foot out

You give your foot a shake, shake, shake

And turn yourself about

Here we go loop de loop

Here we go loop de lie

Here we go loop de loop

All on a Saturday night

You put your right hip in

You take your right hip out

You give your right hip a shake, shake, shake

And turn yourself about

Here we go loop de loop

Here we go loop de lie

Here we go loop de loop

All on a Saturday night

You put your whole self in

You take your whole self out

You give yourself a shake, shake, shake

And turn yourself about

  1. I heard this song for the first time when my daughter was about 15 months old, and it cracked me up completely watching her attempt to follow along with the song (we have a version that repeats itself, but gets faster and faster each time).

  3. I love singing with my son (and he really gets into it.) The only thing is every time we sing together he wants me to pick him up and dance with him! :) At least its a good workout.

  4. This one is on my children's favorite kids' tape. It still gets played at least once a week when the neighbor children I babysit come over.

  16. I like your blog. I am musically impaired, but I bought an antique piano and have taught myself to play the melody with my right hand, but I am stuck. I think I am going to take a few piano lessons so I can progress. I like the look of your blog the activities. Even though I am not a music person my kids are always exposed to it!!
